The folks at H&H are great, and their work is awesome as well. Locally owned and they have always treated us like family. We recommend them to our friends as well. Check 'em out!

Wow, feeling pretty humbled by this review. For those of you that don't know, it doesn't get much better than David Finet and the East Lansing Food COOP. The fancy new grocery stores in town are very impressive additions to our community but no one has provided such great service and products to the community for SO long.

I've had my car serviced by H&H Mobil for more than a decade. They're thorough, professional, and HONEST. And they donate a lot of time and service to their community, and are the folks largely responsible for keeping the entire intersection of Haslett Road, Saginaw, and Hagadorn looking nice.Experience 1: About a year ago I dropped my car off for an oil change, and since it had about 130,000 miles, I thought it was time to replace the timing belt - a somewhat costly but necessary maintenance cost that should be done about every 100,000 miles. (I procrastinated, or so I thought.) About an hour later I received a call from the mechanic. When they started the work to replace the belt, they found a sticker indicating that my belt had been replaced about two years earlier at 100,000 miles! I'd forgotten about this. I suspect most other mechanics would have just replace the belt, and not told me it was unneeded.Experience 2: My wife was driving home, and her car began to run very badly. When it got to the shop, the mechanic discovered that one of her spark plugs had disintegrated, and was spit out into the electronic fuel injection system, shorting everything out. The cylinder head needed to be either repaired. I authorized the work, the engine was disassembled, the head was repaired by the body shop, and everything was put back together. When H&H tested the cylinder pressure, it failed the test, and they knew something was wrong. They disassembled the engine again, and sent the head back to the machine shop where a fragment of the old spark plug was found in one of the valve seats. The head was again fixed, the car reassembled, and the engine runs like new. There was no increase in H&H's charge for the redo. Again, I suspect many mechanics would have not run the cylinder pressure test, would have returned the car with the defect, or would have increased the bill.In addition to its great service, H&H is progressive. It was the first station in the area to sell E-85 (at prices significantly lower than the competition), and the owner drives an electric vehicle so that he can become familiar with the technology. H&H even has an electric vehicle charging station.H&H has contracts with MSU, the City of East Lansing and others to tow cars parked illegally. Reading the other reviews, I discovered that many of the low ratings were from individuals who, because of their own behavior, have had to pay the towing bills. H&H doesn't cruise East Lansing looking for cars to tow - they only tow cars when requested to do so by the MSU or City police, or by the owner of the land where the car was illegally parked. These individuals are directing their anger in the wrong direction.

Excellent, honest, and reliable service at a very reasonable price. Super respectful and no-BS staff! Will definitely be back for my car's next check-up!

I swung by H&H because I opened the hood of my car and couldn't get it to latch shut again. They found where it was stuck, fixed it, and even told me how to fix it myself if it gets stuck again. One gentleman even cleaned off my car battery terminals for me while the hood was open. Thanks so much for helping a clueless girl out!!

I had a good laugh at Gtown W.'s review... must be from another tow company, or one of those snotty kids that expect to just get their way by causing a scene because I have been to multiple places to get my car fixed, when I can't repair it myself. Every other place will make repairs without even informing me that they going to do it and expect you to be ok with it because you may not know what is going on. H&H has always called me if they found something that could be replaced but could wait until the next time it was brought in. They are always great and super helpful whenever I have gone to them. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I have had experience with H&H several times over the course of many years ... Most recently twice in the last 2 months with sensor issues on my 2008 Chevy Colorado. I never enjoy having a problem with my vehicle that I can't fix myself...it always makes one worry that it's going to cost a lot of money. And sometimes it does! But the one thing I can count on is that H&H is going to honestly diagnose and competently repair that problem! They are friendly, professional and make a difficult situation better. It is difficult to find a garage that you can count on...H&H is mine.
